About the Company
A well-established Queensland organisation is seeking an organised and proactive Governance Coordinator to join its Legal & Corporate Services team.
  
This is a varied position that combines legal administration, executive support, office coordination and governance assistance within a close-knit team environment. The role offers significant variety, exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to develop new skills over time.
  
Importantly, prior governance experience is not essential. Open to candidates from legal secretary, legal assistant, paralegal, conveyancing support, executive assistant or broader professional services administration backgrounds. This opportunity would suit someone looking to step away from a highly technical legal support role and into a broader position offering variety, stakeholder engagement and long-term career growth.
   
About the Position
No two days will be the same. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the legal and corporate services team with day-to-day administration
  • Assisting with document management, correspondence and reporting
  • Providing executive and office support to senior team members
  • Coordinating meetings, agendas, minutes and action items
  • Assisting with Board and committee administration
  • Managing records and maintaining key corporate documentation
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external service providers
  • Contributing to governance and compliance activities as required
About You

  • Legal Secretary
  • Legal Assistant
  • Paralegal
  • Conveyancing Assistant
  • Executive Assistant
  • Corporate Administrator
  • Governance or Company Secretarial Administrator
 To be successful, you'll bring:
  • Previous experience in a legal, professional services or corporate environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive and team-focused approach
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion
