Purchasing Officer
Our client is a growing Australian advanced manufacturing and technology business based in Altona. With strong growth plans and a focus on innovation, they are investing in the people, systems and processes that will support the next stage of their journey.
As the business continues to evolve, they are seeking a Purchasing Officer to become a key link between suppliers and internal stakeholders, helping ensure purchasing activities run smoothly and efficiently. While you'll take ownership locally, you'll also be supported by an experienced interstate procurement team.
A Day in the Role
This is a role that combines purchasing, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving.
You'll coordinate with suppliers, support internal teams, track orders, resolve issues and help ensure operations have what they need to keep moving. Working closely with finance, warehouse and operational stakeholders, you'll juggle competing priorities while delivering a high level of service and attention to detail.
The business is growing and evolving, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative and is comfortable adapting to change.
Key Responsibilities
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-growth, innovation-led organisation where you’ll have genuine ownership of purchasing activity and the chance to shape processes while they’re still being built. You’ll work in a collaborative, onsite team with variety in your day, exposure to a wide range of stakeholders, and real scope to make your mark as the business scales.
If this role interests you, please APPLY or contact Shani Latter at Quinn Allan on 0447 654 942 for a confidential discussion.
