About the Company
Our client is a well-established resources organisation with a significant operational footprint across Queensland. With a strong reputation in its sector, the business combines the stability of a large-scale operation with a collaborative and down-to-earth culture.
People are genuinely valued, and culture is considered a key driver of success. The finance team works closely with stakeholders across the business and prides itself on building strong relationships, delivering exceptional service, and continuously improving processes.
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced AP Manager to join a high-performing finance team based in Brisbane CBD. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for leading the Accounts Payable function, managing one direct report, and overseeing the day-to-day administration of the Brisbane office.
This is a hands-on position that offers plenty of variety. While Accounts Payable will form the core focus of the role, you will also act as the office's central point of contact and have the opportunity to gain exposure to payroll and broader finance activities over time.
Most importantly, the organisation is looking for someone who will contribute positively to its culture. Technical skills are important, but attitude, collaboration and relationship-building will ultimately determine success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Accounts Payable professional who enjoys taking ownership, leading by example, and supporting a positive team environment.
