About the Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant / Management Accountant to join a high-performing finance team. Reporting to a senior finance leader, this role works closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver accurate reporting, insights, and support key decision-making.
This is a well-rounded position combining financial reporting, compliance, and analysis within a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in month-end processes, variance analysis, reconciliations, and audit support, while also contributing to system and process improvements.

About the Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant / Management Accountant to join a high-performing finance team. Reporting to a senior finance leader, this role works closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver accurate reporting, insights, and support key decision-making.
This is a well-rounded position combining financial reporting, compliance, and analysis within a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in month-end processes, variance analysis, reconciliations, and audit support, while also contributing to system and process improvements.
Duties
- Prepare monthly management and executive reporting
- Deliver month-end activities, including journals, accruals, and variance analysis
- Complete balance sheet and payroll reconciliations
- Support BAS, FBT and other compliance reporting requirements
- Maintain fixed asset register and support lease accounting (IFRS16)
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Support audit processes and prepare relevant documentation
- Provide insights into financial performance, risks and opportunities
- Partner with stakeholders to support decision-making
- Assist with finance systems, including user support and improvements
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to senior leadership
You are a motivated and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. You’re comfortable balancing technical accounting responsibilities with stakeholder engagement, and you bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
You will have:
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a financial or management accounting role
- CPA/CA qualified or working towards
- Strong reporting, reconciliation and analytical skills
- Experience preparing management accounts and variance analysis
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g. Business Central or similar)
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail
