Senior FP&A Manager | Melbourne Northern suburbs (Hybrid)
 
A leading Melbourne-based agricultural technology company is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to join its Group Finance team in a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO.
 
Working as the second-in-command within FP&A, you will play a key role in driving group-wide planning, forecasting, performance reporting, and strategic decision support across a global business. This is an opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, lead critical planning cycles, and contribute to the ongoing growth and performance of a multinational organisation.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate group budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple business units and international regions.
  • Manage annual budgets, forecast cycles, and ongoing financial planning activities.
  • Deliver monthly performance reporting, variance analysis, and actionable financial insights across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Drive working capital forecasting, cash flow analysis, and capital planning initiatives.
  • Partner with senior executives, regional finance leaders, and operational stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support M&A activity, scenario modelling, business cases, and strategic projects.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to improve business performance and financial outcomes.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued development of the FP&A function.
 
About You
  • Proven experience in FP&A within a large or complex organisation.
  • Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities.
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Solid accounting foundation, ideally with CA/CPA qualifications.
  • Experience within audit, commercial finance, or multinational environments will be highly regarded.
