Bring your energy to Aggreko as Head of Finance – AusPac
based in Braeside, Melbourne. You’ll
act as the key finance leader in the region, and will work closely with the business in the region and represent finance internationally.

Overseeing an established team of finance professionals, you will ensure the team provides timely and accurate reporting and compliance, and lend essential commercial support to a business with significant growth ambitions.
Key responsibilities:-
- Lead the regional Finance team in the pursuit of being a “best in class” function, driving efficiency and engagement throughout.
- Act as a trusted senior advisor to the business, constructively probing to test decisions and gain a deep knowledge of the business.
- Act as the key finance representative for the region, and develop the standing and profile of the AusPac business within the global Aggreko business
- Deliver best in class business partnering to the Australia MD and broader business, to help the organisation deliver ambitious growth targets in the region
- Provide accurate and timely revenue/cost/working capital forecasts to the Regional MD and Finance Director, providing meaningful challenge and insight as required.
- Lead and be accountable for planning and reporting of complex financial analysis including customer evaluation, investment decisions as well as commercial, contractual, and legal issues.
- Lead and develop team of contemporary business partners ensuring strong local support to regional leadership.
- Lead the regional FP&A team to prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts and costs including month end reporting, robust assessment of financial risk and opportunities, budget processes, and other ad hoc exercises.
- Lead the regional financial control environment including statutory and tax filings, ensuring strong compliance to Aggreko’s financial guidelines/procedures and robust finance operational controls, promoting continuous improvement in all areas.
- Liaising with external and internal auditors, customers, suppliers and advisors as and when required.
- CA/CPA qualified, you are an emerging finance executive, ideally with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience working within an international environment
- Strong experience in the energy/power industry is highly advantageous, although expertise gained within an adjacent sector (industrial, asset intensive) such as mining, utilities, construction, oil & gas etc. will be considered
- You bring project leadership and strong stakeholder management experience including enhanced business partnering capability
- With a balanced skill set covering technical and commercial finance, you thrive in complex, matrix corporate environments, and can work well with ambiguity and under pressure
- Experience of full P&L and BS accountability with demonstratable delivery of results
- Strong presentation skills, delivering financial informational clearly and succinctly, to expert and non-finance audiences alike
- Experience in leading, developing, and mentoring remote teams and the management of complex internal and external relationships
- Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (ideally Infor Cloudsuite), consolidations systems and data warehousing tools
