This is a globally focused, high-exposure role. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will act as a key controller for the group’s operations. This is not a traditional local accounting role. You will navigate different tax jurisdictions, diverse IFRS applications, and complex cross-border cost allocations. Key responsibilities
- International Financial Control: Perform robust monthly reviews of overseas business units to ensure completeness, integrity, and reasonableness of reporting.
- Global Compliance: Assist in managing local audits and tax compliance for overseas units to ensure timely statutory completion.
- Technical Research: Support the adoption of new IFRS standards and monitor international tax law developments across different regions.
- Planning & Analysis: Support the forecasting and reporting process, providing in-depth financial analysis for senior stakeholders.
- Headquarter Operations: Manage cost allocations, intercompany bookkeeping, and the issuance of international invoicing.
About you
This role suits a diligent and technically minded finance professional who thrives on complexity and has an interest in international business structures.
You may come from a background such as:
- External Audit (Big 4 or Mid-tier)
- Financial Control within a multinational environment
- Group Reporting or International Tax
You will ideally have:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance (CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion).
- Mandarin or Korean language skills
- Strong foundational knowledge of IFRS and statutory compliance.
- A proactive approach to solving technical accounting and tax challenges.
- Clear communication skills to engage with stakeholders globally.
- Technical Growth: Deepen your expertise in IFRS, international tax, and global statutory compliance.
- High Visibility: Play a key role in the International Finance team with direct impact on HQ reporting.
- Dynamic Environment: A diverse mix of technical accounting, commercial analysis, and operational support.
